The use of propositions in sentences

Propositions of place are used to show the place of certain object or person. look at the examples of sentences which use propositions of place below.

Prepersition of place

P = S + To be ( is, am, are, was, were ) + prepesition + place/location.

ex. 1.) It is near some of important places in the city.

      2.) The air conditioner is above the bed.

P = S + verb ( can, be verb I, verb II, verb III ) + preposition + place/location.

example. The guards stand behind the chairman.

Simple present tense

Merupakan bentuk kalimat sederhana, bentuk ini digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kejadian yang dilakukan berulang-ulang apa adanya diwaktu sekarang.

Pattern I : Subj + verb I  es/s + object.

example. The students go to school every day.

Pattern II : Subject + to be +adjective.

example. Iam a teacher

Pattern III : Subject + have/has + adjective/noun.

example. They have somebooks

Negative

Pattern : Subject + do/does + not + verb I + object.

example. The students do not go to school.

Present Perfect tense

Bentuk ini dibenarkan kegiatan yang telah dimulai pada waktu lampau dan terus terjadi sampai waktu kini biasanya keterangan waktu for selama sence sejak untuk menunjukan hubungan waktunya atau nenyatakan kegiatan yang diulang-ulang dan ada kemungkinan akan berlangsung lagi pada waktu yang akan datang. juga menyatakan suatu kejadian/kegiatan yang baru selesai.
